Weld Procedure, Procedure Qualification, Welder Qualification

Eagle’s experienced staff can help your company research, develop and prepare welding procedures to fit your needs and meet the requirements of applicable codes.

Welding Procedure Qualification:
Eagle can perform the mechanical testing required by applicable codes (i.e. AWS, ASME, MIL-STD, etc.) and prepare the required documentation to qualify your company’s welding procedures.

Welder Qualification:
Eagle can perform the mechanical or NDT testing required for qualifying your company welders.

Mechanical Testing:
Tensile strength, and hardness testing can be provided by Eagle to assure that materials supplied by your vendors meet specified requirements. Eagle’s technicians take your welded coupons and produce reduced section tensile samples that are then tested on our 0-36,000 LBf tensile machine to determine ultimate strength.
