Eagle Testing Company is located at 4015 Divine Avenue Chattanooga, Tennessee and was founded in 2004 by David Powell, Tami Powell and their two sons Matt and John. We have an 18,000 square foot industrial building which provides significant floor space for materials testing and houses our in-house radiography exposure booth and film/image processing facilities.

Our services include non-destructive testing, mechanical testing and pre and post weld heat treatment. NDT services include industrial radiography, phased array and traditional ultrasonic testing, visual inspection, dye penetrant testing, magnetic partical testing. We service industry sectors such as energy (natural gas & fossil fuels), pulp and paper, chemical manufacturing and shop fabricators on items such as piping, pressure vessels, boiler tube replacements, structural components and others. All services are preformed according to our customer’s needs and include both in-house and customer site testing.

Our technicians are knowledgeable, experienced and hold level II or level III qualifications in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A specifications and provide NDE services to ASME Section V, Military Standard NAS 410, customer specific and other technical procedures. Weld and material evaluations are evaluations to industry codes such as AWS D1.1, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, Section I, Section VIII, and Section IX.
